Hello from my kitchen!

 

This is such a difficult time for so many, and whether you've joined me for a baking class, participated in a remote program, or are a friend I've yet to meet, I hope you and your family are doing well.

If you've been spending time at home like I have (baking a ton and committing to that quarantine-15), I hope you'll check out this book for new ideas and techniques. I like to think of it as the published version of the baking notebook I keep on hand with all my handwritten notes and recipes. And I want to share it with you.

These are my favorite recipes, some of them passed down through the generations, and some from days gone by in restaurant or bakery kitchens. There are breakfast pastries, cookies, cakes, pies, and more, all made with pantry staples. There are also lots of tips for adding your favorite flavors and ingredients, and for swapping out any items you don't have on hand.

 

I hope it brings you joy, and that we all find a way to get through this together.
